INTRODUCTION
The Appleton North Booster Club is raising money to renovate the plaza at Paul Engen Field as well as our Baseball Complex. Appleton Area School District and associated Booster Clubs have been investing in the improvement of the Athletic Facilities for many years now. With the addition of the new track, synthetic multi-purpose field, and scoreboard in 2015 to the re-grading and storm-water management of the baseball fields in 2020. To now, where we are campaigning to amplify the experience, safety, security, and aesthetics of these athletic facilities by improving the accessibility, amenities, and equipment to not only benefit the athletes but also the families, friends, and all other spectators who cheer on the Lightning here at Appleton North High School.
Between the Appleton North Booster Club, Private Donors and Appleton Area School District contributions we have raised just over $1,000,000 towards the project - with a total estimated cost of $1,200,000. A private donor is willing to match up to $150,000 in donations to be able to take us to the finish line. Completion of the football plaza will be ahead of our first home football game for the 2021 season and the baseball field is expected to be completed later this Fall. 100% of donations will be put toward the renovation projects and we look forward to other possible improvement projects in the future.
We greatly appreciate your consideration in donating to improve the safety and experience of student-athletes, families and fans at Appleton North. Our District is grateful to have a supportive community for our schools.
