INTRODUCTION
The River Valley School District is fundraising to expand the use and upgrade the current grass surface field to a synthetic turf field at the football stadium. A synthetic turf field could be used five times more than the field is currently be used - approximately 247 times compared to the current use of 50 times on grass. We greatly appreciate your consideration in donating to improve the safety and experience of student-athletes, families and fans at River Valley. Our District is grateful to have a supportive community for our schools.

PROJECT DETAILS
BENEFITS OF NEW TRACK AND FIELD STADIUM:

A synthetic turf field would allow the stadium to be used for all levels of football, boys' soccer, girls' soccer, marching band, cheer/dance team, and physical education classes.

Increases safety of the students, student athletes, and our community

Fits the long range planning of the campus

Eliminates concerns of structural integrity issues with the facilities equipment and surrounding access surfaces
IMPROVEMENTS:

New 8-lane Track

New Jumping Events including double long/triple jump and pole vault

New D-Area for high jump
-
New Synthetic Football Field with Blackhawk Logo and Endzone lettering

Storm water management practices for both areas to eliminate any flooding or pooling

All pavement areas to meet ADA requirements and increase safety for all users

Decorative Fencing added for increased security and to amplify the aesthetics of the first class facilities
